Pupil Premium

In This Section

Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the Government in order to help address any inequalities between children eligible for free school meals (FSM) and their peers, thus providing them with the same opportunities as other children and support for parents as appropriate. Pupil Premium funding is also available for adopted or looked after children and those who have family members in the armed forces.

Pupil Premium benefits all children, not just those who are eligible.  To find out more about this funding please read the Information for Parents leaflet and refer to the Pupil Premium Strategy Report to find out how our school’s allocation is used and what the impact of the spending has been.

Pupil premium funding is allocated on historic and current free school meals data. This funding is being used to provide small group intervention work, one to one tuition and targeted classroom support. The money is also used to subsidise educational trips and after school clubs.
