Below is a short description of the after school and holiday clubs we offer throughout the year. Please note that not all clubs are offered at all times. Your child can take part in an after school club by signing up at the school office. Please note that club places are limited and places are offered on a first come first serve basis.

Holiday Clubs – Mr Noon will be running a sports club during the Easter holidays for four days (Monday 26th -Thursday 29th March. Come along and join the fun by completeing the application form below!
Summer Holiday Clubs- Two weeks of fun, activity and friendship. The first week (Monday 30th July to Friday 3rd August) will be sprots based and the second will see the return of the successful playscheme (Monday 6th – Friday 10th August). Click on the link below to apply to join the fun!
Methodist Church – The local Church group will be in organisng activities to encourage interaction and collaboration.
Cookery Club – Mrs Davies and Mrs Faulkner help the children to learn the skills to produce recipes from around the world using lots of delicious ingredients and some they will not have tried before!
Girls Football – Mr Noon will be running a girls football club until half term. They will be representing the school in various competitions.
Cross Country Lunchtime Club – Mrs Jewitt will be training the children ready for the races in the Leicestershire Primary Cross Country League at Prestwold Hall. Children who want to run for fitness and fun can join the sessions too.
Due to the high number of sports tournaments in the second half of the summer term, which will need opportunities for teams to train together, we will not be running any clubs. This is in order to avoid cancellations and deferring sessions whixh has happened in the past during this term.
Tag Rugby – Mrs Davies will be continuing her very popular tag rugby sessions. She will be joined by Mr Cox who will be coaching the older children.
Multi Skills – Mrs Davies will be running a multi skills club to teach the fundermental skills needed to take part in physical activity.
Baking Club – Take part in baking sessions in the school kitchen. They will learn the skills to create a different recipe each week and bring home samples to share.
Lego Animation Club – The children can take part in Lego Animation Club where they will learn how to use the stop animation software on our tablets in order to create their own mini movies
Games Club – A chance to bring in and play a variety of games from home or our own selection. Join in with friends and children of different ages. This is run by Mrs Davies and Mrs Faulkner
Forest Schools – Forest School is a unique educational programme that takes place outdoors in the natural environment. It aims to build up children’s skills, abilities and confidence week by week through practical hands-on activities.
Robot Lego Club – Take part in Robot Lego Club where they will learn how to build their own robots out of Lego and then program them to navigate obstacle course and take part in robot wars
