We had two themes this week to catch up with the one missed before half term due to the school closure. They were ‘humour’ and ‘courage’. Teachers were able to choose if they wanted one or both of the two themes.
Firstly, the children selected for their ‘humour’ were for two reasons; both the ability to make others smile and laugh or for being in a good mood the majority of the time despite the challenges they may face throughout the day.
Secondly, ‘courage’ demonstrated by the children to tackle new or tricky things both in and out of school. This may be something in the past they have felt unsuccessful at but through resilience and courage are now able to achieve greater goals.
Well done everyone and also to our footballers who have competed in two separate leagues this week involving seven matches in total. Thank you to our sports correspondent, Jacob, who gave an excellent report back during the assembly.
