The theme for this week has been ‘respect’ which is a valuable characteristic to have and nurtured throughout life. The children had an assembly earlier this week to discuss how this impacts on our school, relationships, environment and our wider community.
The selected children were nominated for the ‘respect’ they show in theses areas at all times. Their parents were able to share this with them in assembly this afternoon. We also had a first, siblings being nominated on the same afternoon and not just from one family but two! How amazing and how proud those parents must feel. Great job!
Next week’s theme in ‘self-regulation’. We’ll be on the look out for those children who demonstrate commitment to remain on task; think about how they respond to challenging situations and manage their time effectively.
